Our topic this half-term is "Growth"
We will investigate the growth of both humans and animals. looking closely at the changes we make as we get older, how plants grow, what animals need in order to grow and be healthy, lifecycles along with growth relevant to spring. We have a trip to the farm planned where we will have the experience of lambing season. We will also be developing our science skills during science week where the children will participate in an in school science workshop afternoon.
This half term we will be focusing on developing our reading skills and will be reading in school daily. We ask that you ensure your child brings their reading books and reading records with them each day and attempts to read a short amount at home each day if possible.
In maths we are taking a closer look into 3D shapes and developing our maths skills when subtracting.
PE days will be Wednesday mornings and Tuesday afternoons.
