We had a fantastic science fair this afternoon, with science activities across the whole reception unit, inside and out. We learned about magnets, friction on ramps, floating/sinking, worms (observing and finding them!), the digestive system, electrical circuits, and even launched a few rockets. The afternoon was finished by a mad professor coming to read us a science story. All the children worked extremely hard and were absorbed for the full afternoon. It was lovely to hear that some children now want to be scientists!
