‘Mess is best
Outside we are lucky enough to have our own open ended exploration area: mud kitchen, potion lab, perfume station… you name it, our children have experienced it.

In this area children enjoy using skills such as grinding, mixing, stirring, pouring, filling, juicing, cutting , mashing , grating and zesting as they experiment with fruits, flowers, herbs, grass, mud and anything else they can get their hands on.

This area sparks conversations and ignites vocabulary as children work together to create something unique.’
