This week Year 2 have been writing 'Postcards of Kindness' which they are sending to residents of care homes in the Carlisle area. The children are very excited about the project and have enjoyed writing about their hobbies and drawing pictures of their pets. The 'Postcards of Kindness' initiative is a national appeal to try to combat loneliness and isolation across the country and to remind care home residents that there’s always somebody thinking of them.
