Site Manager
- Part-time 15 hours term time only OR 10 hours weekly full year negotiable (times and days flexible)
- Salary: OP7i (PCD7i/ii £27,711 scale 7 pro Rata)

We are seeking to employ a school Janitor to work part time in school starting in January. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Carrying out periodic inspections of the assigned site or premises to the given routine/schedule.
- Carrying out health and safety checks, maintaining and submitting records.
- Comply with all policies relating to Health and safety, security and confidentiality.
- Allocating and checking work of colleagues as required.
- Assisting with the performance and attendance of staff.
- General site wide duties e.g.. monitoring supplies, completing order sheets, undertaking specific disposal and cleaning procedures.
- The janitor will oversee the cleaning team to ensure we maintain high levels of cleanliness within the school building and grounds.
- Applicants will need to demonstrate experience of undertaking general cleaning duties, an awareness of health and safety, be hard working and willing to play an important part in our successful school team.
- Carrying out cleaning, handy person activities, routine maintenance and minor repairs
- Maintain the general school premises, furniture and fittings, and reporting any issues to the Head Teacher/SBM
- Carry out small repairs and DIY projects.
- Good Interpersonal skills to protect the school's interests in dealing with contractors and other visitors to the site
The success candidate will provided with the necessary training e.g. asbestos, legionella.
