Outdoor Learning
This term the children and teachers of all year groups have enjoyed learning opportunities outdoors. We are delighted to have earned a Bronze Green Tree School Award by the Woodland Trust for our commitment to outdoor education. The Green Tree School award encourages outdoor learning and inspires pupils about trees, woods and wildlife. Throughout the project schools are rewarded for doing environmental projects such as tree planting, reducing CO2 emissions and visiting woodland areas. Outdoor learning remains high on our agenda at Kingmoor Nursery and Infant school and we hope to achieve the Gold Green Tree School award by the end of the school year.
