    Give A Day To The City: Andy Fearon and Emma Aimers of Kingmoor Consulting launched our project with an assembly. This week children are decorating pots to give to the community and share a smile.
  • This week Class 5 created their own fairy tale characters and worked collaboratively to tell their own stories in the woods, they used resources in the woods to help with their imaginations and told some super stories.

  • We planted potatoes and today we dug them up, cleaned them, chopped them, cooked them and enjoyed them with grated cheese!

  • Sponsored Walk: Thank you so much to everyone who supported our PTA sponsored walk. We raised an ENORMOUS £1200. Everyone has worked hard and been so generous!

  • Class 1 have been part of the Grow Your Own Potato Scheme.

    They have chitted then planted seed potatoes; the children looked after the watering and topping up of the potatoes over the past couple of months and today we had lots of fun searching around in the mud and minibeasts to harvest a huge crop that everyone enjoyed cooking and eating with cheese. We have so many we will be having potato soup next week as well!

    class 1 showing you can have lots of fun if you have imagination and a cardboard box - they gave out numbered tickets for turns in there, decorated it with signs, windows, TVs, and flowers, but also changed it throughout the week for a whole range of purposes.

    Year 1 went to look at what spaces near our school have been used for, we enjoyed using the park which is near our school. We also went to see Twitter, the carved owl.
  • Year 1 have been writing questionnaires to the local residents.

    Year 1 have been writing questionnaires to the local residents to ask what they would like to do with the spaces of unused land near our school. We then went to post our questionnaires and are excited to hear our replies.
